Context

Bunch delivers AI leadership coaching in short daily sessions — the promise is that two minutes a day is enough to build better leaders. For that to work, the native experience has to be fast and frictionless: open it, get today's personalized coaching, done. Anything slow or clunky breaks the daily habit the product depends on.

Role & approach

As Lead iOS Engineer I rewrote the app. The focus was a native experience quick enough to sustain a daily habit, with ML-driven personalization delivering the right coaching in a two-minute session. Rewrites like this are as much about restraint as addition — keeping the surface tight so the core loop stays fast.

Outcome

A daily coaching habit that fits in two minutes — personalized, native, and fast enough that opening it never feels like a chore.
